Audi showed off a new concept last month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, which it just calls the Q8. The Audi Q8 concept would push the brand into an even higher level of luxury.
Starting with a sleek exterior design, the four-passenger Q8 is built to impress and it is already set for production with an on-sale date sometime in 2018. Buyers will be greeted with an incredibly spacious and luxurious cabin packed with the latest technology, entertainment, convenience, and safety features.
In addition, drivers will be impressed with the Q8’s engaging powertrain. Driving the Q8 concept is an efficient plug-in hybrid system that delivers a total of 442 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque.
“The Q8 concept is an Audi in peak form. It demonstrates the strengths of our brand in both technology and design while providing a glimpse at a future full-size, production SUV,” said Dietmar Voggenreiter, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG. “With its next-generation display and control solutions, we are enabling customers to experience connectivity in a whole new way.”
Audi describes the Q8 concept as a “full-size SUV in coupe design.” This means that buyers can get the sleek styling they want along with all the space and comfort they need.
