The new 2017 Audi Q7 is making a grand entrance into the auto scene, and it just keeps getting grander. Announced in late February, the 2017 Audi Q7 has earned a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

To earn Top Safety Pick recognition, a vehicle must earn a “good” rating in all five test categories: moderate overlap front, small overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraints. For that extra meaningful “+,” a vehicle must also earn an advanced or superior rating in front crash prevention.

So, not only is the 2017 Audi Q7 looking like it’s going to be one of the most stylish SUVs of the new year, it’s going to be one of the safest. With its fully reinforced structure, automatic emergency braking, and a wealth of other enhanced safety features, the Q7 will leave you hard-pressed to find a vehicle more deserving of this top honor.

Audi is fully committed to driver and passenger safety, and the Q7’s Top Safety Pick+ award is just one small way the automaker proves it.
